Dave Kim, DDS is from the North Seattle area. He attended and graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Biochemistry. While at Bowdoin, he took classes in drawing and sculpture, sharpening his manual dexterity for a career in dentistry. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry with honors.

Following dental school, he and his wife Sarah moved back to the Northwest to be close to their families. Their kids are busy with soccer, baseball and lacrosse. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies, dining out, and cheering for Husky sports, the Mariners, and the Seahawks.

Zachary Cook, DDS is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Olaf College, and later his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota. As a life-long lover of nature and the mountains, the Pacific Northwest was at the top of his list to relocate after his education. Dr. Cook completed a general practice residency at the University of Washington. While there he safely cared for his patients with significant medical complexities and healthcare needs, often requiring dental treatment in a hospital setting. Additionally during his residency, Dr. Cook took trauma call at the UW Medical Center and VA Puget Sound for dental and maxillofacial injuries.

Now in a private practice setting he is well-trained to safely care for his patients, even with very complicated medical histories. His professional interests include cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental implants and oral surgery. In his spare time he enjoys embracing the outdoors. As a former ski instructor you may see him on the slopes, riding his bike, or trekking throughout the beautiful PNW wilderness. He is excited to join our team and looks forward to meeting you!

Kimberly

I have been working in dentistry since 2008 and have been a hygienist since 2012. I love what I do! One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know patients and their families. It is important to me to provide my patients with high quality dental care in a positive comfortable environment. I love learning about advancements in the dental field and using my knowledge to help patients improve their dental health.

My family lives locally and I spend as much time with them as possible. I especially enjoy being an aunt. I love the outdoors and taking trips to the ocean with friends and family.

Cherryl

I have been in the dental field since 2005. I am what you call a military brat. Although I have lived in many different places, Guam is where I call home. I come from a big family. I myself have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 mama’s boy. I live to be with my family and love to make them happy. I enjoy having girls night and reading a good book. I am passionate about dentistry and will strive to give you the best and most comfortable experience. I look forward to meeting you and playing a positive role in your oral health.

Amanda

I am very happy to be a new addition to the FME Family Dental family. I graduated dental assisting school in January 2007 and have been in the field since. I strive for patient’s to receive quality care in a friendly environment. My goal is for patient’s to have a healthy, comfortable, confident smile while helping them navigate and understand their insurance policies. I am a mother of two amazing girls, have two adopted fluffy cats and one rescued chow mix dog. My girls and I love going to the dog park, going to the Oregon Coast, hiking in the mountains or around lakes and riding our scooters.

Ashley

 I grew up right here Pierce County and have a very large family that lives nearby. I myself have an amazing husband and beautiful little girl at home that keep me busy. I have been in the dental field since 2005 and have been lucky to assist with every specialty in our field for the first 15 years of my career. I am proud to be a part of FME Family Dental’s team and am here to ensure our office is running smoothly, help with scheduling, coordinating your appts, answering any questions you may have regarding your treatment and to ensure you are getting the most out of your dental insurance. When I am not at work you will usually find me working out in my yard, at the race track or up in the mountains. I enjoy hiking, riding motorcycles, offroading in my jeep, camping and basically anything having to do with being outdoors.

I have been a part of this team since 2021 and I am so grateful to be here. When I am not in the office you can find me doing lash extensions, at the gym, or spending quality time with friends and family.

Madison

I am from Lake Tapps, Wa and currently live in Buckley, WA. I have been in the dental field since 2016. I have worked as an assistant, front desk, and now in hygiene. I received my Bachelor’s in Science from Oregon State University and my Bachelors’s in dental hygiene from Pierce College. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy traveling, wine tasting and trying new foods. We also have a cat named Kitty to keep us company when we are home.
